Green Giants Sweep Galion

The St. Clair Green Giants swept the double header on Thursday against the Galion Graders, and also completed the series sweep improving to 3-0 on the year.

The Green Giants won game 1 of the double header 5-4 in walk off fashion for the second game in a row.  The Green Giants fought from a 4-1 deficit to tie it and eventually win it in extra innings thanks to a Alex Crump sacrifice fly.

Mitchael Dyer picked up his first win as a Green Giant in relief.

The Green Giants won game 2 of the doubleheader 4-2.  Jancarlo Llaser got the start and the win as he went 5.2IP allowing 3 hits 2 earned runs while striking out 5.

Nolan Tucker led the Green Giants offensively going 2-3 with a run scored a double and an RBI.

The Green Giants travel to Siena Heights University Friday night to take on the Michigan Monarchs for a three game series over the weekend in the Great Lakes Summer Collegiate League season.
