Guns Seized In Standoff
Charges have been laid and weapons recovered following a brief standoff on the weekend.
Windsor Police were called to a home on Windsor Avenue near Elliott on Saturday evening (5pm) for reports of shots fired after a man on a front porch was seen firing a handgun into the air.
The suspect went back inside and didn't come out until four-hours later. The area was cordoned off for safety reasons.
Officers later searched the residence and seized a number of firearms, including the gun believed to be involved in the incident, plus a quantity of ammunition.
34-year old Jason Mullen is charged with weapons offences.
The Major Crimes Branch continues to investigate.
