Habitat for Humanity Accepting E-Waste for Free

Habitat for Humanity Windsor-Essex wants residents to dispose of electronics safely and for free Saturday.

It's an annual tradition for the organization that gathers outdated electronics and small appliances that contain materials that can be made into new products.

Money raised through the recycling process is put towards building new-homes for those in need in Windsor-Essex.

The ReStore E-Waste and Appliance Recycling Program collected more than 200,000-kg worth of items in 2018.

Items can be dropped off at the 1925 Division Rd. and 6570 Tecumseh Rd. E. Home Depots from 10am to 4pm.
