Indians Crush Tigers 11-0
The Indians' club-record winning streak is now at 19 games after trouncing the Tigers 11-0 at Progressive Field.
Francisco Lindor had a three-run triple and Jose Ramirez homered and knocked in three for the red-hot Tribe, who moved 32 games over .500 at 88-and-56. Carlos Carrasco struck out nine over six innings of seven-hit ball to move to 15-and-6 with the win.
Myles Jaye surrendered seven runs in less than four innings to fall to 1-and-1 for Detroit. Alex Presley and Jeimer Candelario had two hits apiece for the Tigers.
With a win tonight, Cleveland will tie the 2002 Oakland A's streak of 20 games and will be one shy of the most wins in consecutive games at 21 set by the 1935 Chicago Cubs.
Matthew Boyd will be on the mound for the Tigers, while the Indians counter with Corey Kluber.
