Jays Down Rays 3-2

Marcus Stroman picked up the win and Steve Pearce went deep as the Blue Jays edged the Rays, 3-2, in Toronto.

Stroman tossed 6 1/3 innings of two-run ball in his 11th victory. Stroman leads all Toronto starters in innings pitched with nearly 160.

Pearce homered in the fourth inning after Jose Bautista laced an RBI double in the third.  

Roberto Osuna racked up his 31st save. The Rays have lost four-of-five.

The Blue Jays and Rays wrap up their four-game set at Rogers Centre this afternoon. Righty Chris Rowley is expected to make his second start for Toronto.
