Jays Drop An 11-5 Contest To Yanks

Jose Bautista homered in the fifth, and Ryan Goins had an R-B-I double and Josh Donaldson an R-B-I single in the sixth to pull the Blue Jays to within a run before the Yankees piled on in the eighth and ninth as New York beat Toronto 11-5.

Todd Frazier homered and had three R-B-Is for the Yankees. Gary Sanchez and Didi Gregorius also went deep for New York.

Every Yankee starter had a hit except for Aaron Judge, who went 0-for-4 with a walk and a strikeout.

Nick Tepesch gave up eight hits and five runs in four-and-a-third innings to take the loss in his first start for Toronto.

Blue Jays pitcher Marco Estrada gets the start tonight for Toronto while Sonny Gray will take the mound for New York.
