Jersey Retirement In LaSalle
It's going to be an emotional night in the Town of LaSalle.
On Thursday, LaSalle Minor Hockey Association is retiring the jersey of 16-old-year Nick Dyer.
Dyer died in March after a single vehicle rollover on February 13th on Concession 4 North in Amherstburg.
LMHA 1st Vice President Tracey Klingbyle says Dyer's number 77 will be raised to the rafters at the Vollmer Centre.

She says the jersey will be retired on December 7th at 7pm.
"We are going to retire the jersey with the midget majors on the ice which is the age group that Nick would have been playing with this year," says Klingbyle. So all of his friends and all of his family members are asked to fill the stands and attend the raising of the banner."
Klingbyle says members of Dyer's family will be on hand along with friends and teammates.
