Jodoin Commits to Spitfires

The Windsor Spitfires have signed their fourth-round pick from April's Ontario Hockey League draft.

James Jodoin is a 6'3", 190-pound defenceman who played last season with his hometown Oakville Rangers minor midget team.

In 31 regular season games, Jodoin scored four goals and 17 assists, along with four goals and an assist in eight playoff games.

Spitfires General Manager Warren Rychel says Jodoin had a strong season and showed big improvements in all aspects of his game.

"We like that he's a right-handed shot, his size and all around game," says Rychel.  "We think he has a bright future in the league."

Jodoin was the 67th player selected overall in the draft.
