Kempe Named Executive Director Of Chidren First
The Board of Directors of Children First has named it's new executive director.
Lori Kempe assumes the role on December 1st, she replaces the retiring Mark Donlon.
"As the executive director I have the pleasure of continuing to build on the great work that the agency already does with children and families, continuing to build partnerships with the other agencies in the community and really just work with our children and families in the community to support them reach their full potential," says Kempe.
Kempe has over 17 years working in the children services sector and also spent three years with the Ministry of Children and Youth Services.
Donlon has been the executive director for the past eight years. He officially retires on December 31st.
The organization assists roughly 1300 children and their families per year.
