Kids Raising Money For Kids

Some young philanthropists in Windsor-Essex are helping other kids.

It's called the "W.E. Care for Kids Lemonade Brigade" which encourages kids in the community to set up a lemonade stand to support W.E. Care for Kids.

Money raised would be used to buy hospital equipment for children.

Co-organizer 12-year-old Jaxson Nosella says it's easy to do.

"They will sign up and they can get a cool starter kit with straws and cups and everything you need to get started," says Nosella. "What we are hoping it does is they can raise more money for W.E. Care for Kids and get involved."

Nosella says the group of six kids started selling lemonade for W.E. Care for Kids four years ago at a local park and have raised $600 to date.

They're goal is to raise $10,000.
