Lakeshore Man Charged In Reported Road Rage Case
A Lakeshore man is facing impaired driving charges after a reported case of 'road rage.'
Around 8am on March 9th, provincial police say they were called by a driver travelling on Highway 401 in Lakeshore.
The caller reported they were being followed by another vehicle which was tailgating and driving erratically.
The caller tried to evade the following car over several kilometres but was unsuccessful, before the vehicles eventually got off the highway around St.Joachim.
Officers were able to stop the suspect vehicle on County Rd. 42 near County Rd. 27.
A 54-year-old was arrested and is charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle and failing or refusing to provide a breath sample.
The suspect's vehicle has been impounded and his driver's licence suspended.
