Lancers Season Ends
The O-U-A women's basketball playoffs opened last night in Ottawa as the No. 8 Lancer women's basketball team's season came to an end last night following a 61-48 loss to the No. 1 Carleton Ravens in the OUA semi-finals.
It was the Lancers eleventh straight appearance in the OUA final four.
Nyamouch Teny led the Lancers with 13 points while Carly Steer came off the bench to put up 12 points.
Playing in her final game for the Lancers, fifth year senior Emily Prevost finished the game with six points and a team high eight rebounds.
Appearing in their fifth OUA semi-final over the past six years, the Lancer men's basketball team saw their season came to an end following a 97-58 loss to the No. 1 Carleton Ravens.
Playing in his final game in a Lancer jersey, fifth year senior and team captain Mike Rocca finished the night with ten points and three steals.
Marcus Jones led Windsor on both sides of the ball with 14 points and six rebounds.
Lucas Orlita also hit double digits putting up 12 points in 35 minutes of action.
