"Lazy-Hazy Days of Summer" To Wrap Up The Season In Windsor-Essex

Summer is beginning to wind down and it's time to soak up the last of the sun's rays.

Environment Canada Senior Climatologist David Philips says to expect it to be a good few weeks overall for both the weather and your wallet.

"It's going to be a little bit normal, to a bit cooler than normal" says Philips  "But it's going to make it comfortable for sleeping, not having on your air conditioning. So you're going to be able to save money, and yet the weather is pretty positive."

Phillips says the cooler temperatures are a trend that carried over throughout the season with a total of about 15 days above 30 celsius, compared ot 33 last year.

He says the weather looks favourable though the last month of summer and the first part of fall.
