Leamington Death Deemed Non-Suspicious

The death of a Leamington man over the civic long weekend is not being called suspicious by investigators.

Ontario Provincial Police report the man's death was unrelated to an earlier physical altercation on August 3. OPP originally reported a dead man was found in the 100-block of Talbot St. E.

Daniel Sauve, 54, from Leamington was sent to an area hospital by paramedics where he later died.

Despite investigators deeming the death "non suspicious" police have laid charges.

Police report 31-year-old Mark Stange of Windsor remains in custody on two counts of assaulting an officer, assault and failing to comply.
