Lightning Beats Red Wings at LCA

The Tampa Bay Lightning scored four consecutive goals in the third period to rally past the Red Wings 5-4 in Detroit.  

Nikita Kucherov scored two goals and two assists for Tampa Bay, which trailed 3-0 early in the second.

Steven Stamkos, Brayden Point and Tyler Johnson also scored for the Lightning, who have won three in-a-row and 15 of their last 17 NHL games.

Madison Bowey, Darren Helm, Justin Abdelkader and Michael Rasmussen scored for Detroit, which has lost four in-a-row and 12 of its last 13 games.

The Wings look to put the breaks on a four-game losing streak when they host the Islanders Saturday afternoon.
