Lions End Preseason On A Losing Note

The Lions wrapped up the preseason with a 1-and-3 record after a 35-17 loss to the Cleveland Browns Thursday night at Ford Field.

Quarterback Jake Ruddock got the start and completed 14-of-24 passes for 112 yards and a touchdown.

QB Matt Cassel connected on four of his 11 pass attempts for 64 yards and an interception.

Dwayne Washington had 20 carries on the night for 67 yards and a score.

Detroit opens the regular season at home in a Monday Night Football matchup with the New York Jets on September 10th.
