The Detroit Lions suffered a Thanksgiving Day defeat at Ford Field.
The NFC East leading Minnesota Vikings topped the Lions 30-23.
Matthew Stafford passed for 250 yards, throwing two touchdowns on 20 for 35 passing including a 43-yard bomb to Marvin Jones Jr. who caught the pass and ran it in for a touchdown between two Vikings players.
Jones had six receptions for 109 yards and two touchdowns.
The Lions got off to a rough start, losing the first quarter 13-0, but bounced back in the second quarter to put 10 points the board to make it 20-10 at halftime.
Stafford took a knock in the 4th quarter making the 43-yard pass to Jones when a pair of players tumbled into the back of his legs. He limped off the field, but returned to action.
The Lions are now 6-5 on the season and are well back of the division leading Vikings at 9-2.
