Lions to Open Against Arizona

The Detroit Lions open the 2019 NFL regular season in Arizona September 8th.

It will mark the second time in three years the team has played the Cardinals in Week One.

In the schedule announced Wednesday night, Detroit hosts the Los Angeles Chargers in the home opener at Ford Field on September 15th.  

The Lions will take on NFC North rival Chicago Bears on Thanksgiving Day for the second straight year.  

Detroit visits Green Bay in a Monday Night Football matchup October 14th and closes out the season at home against the Packers December 29th.
