Lynch Won't Stand For It

Oakland Raiders running back Marshawn Lynch is still not participating in the national anthem.

Lynch took a seat on the bench during the anthem before Monday's game versus the L.A. Rams.

He did the same all of last season, electing to sit as opposed to standing or kneeling.

He made headlines last year when the Raiders played the Patriots in Mexico and he elected to stand for the Mexican Anthem, but sat for the Star-Spangled Banner.  Donald Trump called the act disrespectful in a tweet sent last November.

The NFL previously enacted a policy requiring players to stand for the anthem or stay in the locker room earlier this year, but that has since been shelved.

Raiders head coach Jon Gruden's return to the sideline was spoiled when the Rams ran away with a 33-13 win in Oakland on Monday Night Football.

Los Angeles outscored the Silver and Black 23-to-nothing in the second half.
