Maple Leafs Can't Stop Hurricanes

Petr Mrazek made 23 saves as the Carolina Hurricanes topped the Maple Leafs 4-1 in Toronto.

Dougie Hamilton had two goals while Justin Williams and Jordan Staal added the other scores in the win, Carolina's second in three games.

With the win, combined with a Montreal win and Columbus' loss, Carolina moves into the first Wild Card spot in the NHL Eastern Conference with 95 points.

John Tavares scored with the man-advantage midway through the second period for his 47th goal of the year.  Toronto has lost four of its last six.

The Leafs have two games left in the regular season, as they'll play both the Lightning and Canadiens.
