McCool Released From Hospital
Windsor Spitfires forward Hayden McCool has been released from hospital.
McCool was injured in the third period of Thursday night's game after crashing into the end boards head-first.
He suffered an apparent neck injury and was stretchered off the ice and was taken to hospital.
Spitfires spokesperson Dave Ducharme says McCool is now relaxing at his billets house.
He says there are no fractures or breaks and x-rays came back negative.
McCool will not travel with the team this weekend.
He is listed week to week.
