Mom Charged In Son's Death In Swollen River
Ontario Provincial Police have charged the mother of a young boy who was swept away in a swollen Ontario river earlier this year.
Back in February, the vehicle three-year-old Kaden Young was in, was pulled into the fast flowing Grand River, near Orangeville, Ontario when the driver allegedly did not stop for a road closure sign.
Earlier reports indicated, the driver was initially able to grasp him before the current knocked him out of her arms
Orangeville is about a four hour drive from Windsor.
The toddler was lost in the water which prompted a frantic search by volunteers and police.
Young's body was found by a fisherman two months later.
The boy's mother, Michelle Hanson, has now been charged with impaired driving causing death, dangerous driving causing death and criminal negligence causing death.
