NHL Players Vote For The Best Of The Best
The NHL Players Association has revealed the results of a survey of more than 500 current NHL players on a number of questions.
Today's players have selected Pittsburgh Penguins captain Sidney Crosby as the most difficult player to play against, edging out Edmonton Oilers captain Connor McDavid.
Windsor-native and Chicago Blackhawks head coach Joel Quenneville was voted the coach the players would like to play for the most.
Quenneville wasn't the only person from the Windsor area to receive recognition from the players.
Current Toronto Maple Leafs assistant coach D.J. Smith was voted the current assistant coach who should be the next head coach of a NHL team.
Former Spitfire Steve Ott, currently with the St. Louis Blues coaching staff, was third on the list.
