No Injuries in Early Morning Windsor Fire

Windsor fire crews remain on the scene of a fire affecting two homes in the 800-block of Lincoln Rd at Niagara.

Windsor police got the call at 2:14am.

Fire found one house ablaze with extensive damage, while only minor damage is reported to the home next door.

It seems to have started from a 'heating mechanism' in between the two homes, and the cause appears to be 'accidental'.

One person was rescued from the home, treated and released by paramedics.

The fire was declared under control about 3:30am Thursday.

No word yet on a damage estimate.
