OPP Investigate Disturbance In Leamington
The OPP are releasing more information about a disturbance call in Leamington earlier today.
Police say officers responded to the area of Talbot Street East — near Victoria Avenue — around 6:45am — and arrested two men at the scene while another two fled on foot.
At one point during the morning an apartment building on Talbot St. near Cedar Dr. was taped off and callers to AM800 News say several police cruisers were on the scene with their guns drawn in various parts of the municipality.
One of suspects who fled was arrested a short time later while the fourth man still hasn't been located.
School board officials confirm that a 'Hold and Secure' was put into effect at Mill Street Public School and St. Louis Catholic School this morning but both have since been lifted.
Following the investigation two of the men who were arrested were released.
Undisclosed criminal charges are pending against one Leamington man as the investigation continues.
