Pelee Island Music Festival Will Return Next Year
After a successful fourth year, the organizers of the 'Island Unplugged' Music Festival say the event will continue for a fifth straight year.
Festival Chair Rod Strickland says this past weekend's event was well attended and musical acts and artisans had a great time.
He says more people attended this year's event than last.
"Beautiful weather, lots of people, lots of fun, lots of dancing. It was really a nice turnout," he says.
"We're learning from our previous years and we're moving forward. We've already all agreed, we're going for year five."
The event took place on Saturday and Sunday at the East Shore Campground on Pelee Island.
It featured over 15 acts.
Strickland says planning for next year's event will begin at the end of September.
