There's plenty to do throughout Essex County this Canada Day.

Amherstburg will see a full day of free activities beginning with its Canada D'Eh Run at 9am and wrapping with a free outdoor movie at Fort Malden at 10pm.

Point Pelee will be holding a scavenger hunt among other fun for the kids from 8am to 5pm - there will be cake at 1pm at the Canada Day Beach Bash on Northwest Beach.

Lakeshore will hold its annual Canada Day Parade at 3pm from Main down to Hale St. before ending on Maple St.

Free family activities and music will continue throughout the day, wrapping up with a fireworks display at 9:50pm at Stoney Point Park.

Swimming at Lacasse Park from 1pm to 4pm is just one of many free activities on deck for Tecumseh, but the majority of the events, including music and magic, will be held at Lakewood Park.

Windsor's Canada Day Parade kicks off at 11am down Ouellette Ave. from Giles Blvd. before hitting Festival Plaza on Riverside Dr. for free food music and fun.
