Police Charge Two Men in Break and Enter Attempt

Windsor police have charged two Windsor men following a break and enter attempt.

Police say early Wednesday around 12:30 a.m., officers from the City Centre Patrol Unit were called to the 400 block of Pelissier Street for a break and enter in progress.

When officers arrived, they saw two suspects trying to pry open a garage door with tools.

According to police, both men attempted to flee the area on bicycles but were arrested without incident.

Police says during the investigation, illicit drugs and tools were discovered.

29-year-old Kenneth Jones is facing four charges including possess break and enter tools and possession of suspected fentanyl for the purpose of trafficking.

35-year-old Justin Kaczmarski is facing seven charges including possession of suspect methamphetamine, possession of suspected hydromorphone, possession of suspected fentanyl and attempt break and enter.
