Police Investigate Assault in Central Windsor

Windsor Police Service is looking for two men alleged to have assaulted a 16-year-old boy Friday night.

Patrol officers were called to Walker Rd. near Grand Marais Rd. E. around 9:30pm. Police arrived to find a teenage boy had suffered minor injuries after an assault.

A detective with Major Crimes tells AM800 News the boy claims he was "jumped" by two men, one of which had a small knife.

The victim was treated for minor injuries on the scene and released, according to investigators.

Police are looking for a 6' black male with a muscular build, the victim couldn't determine the race of the second man, but described him as 5'-7" tall.

Both men are believed to be 18 to 20 years old and they fled the scene in a black sedan, according to WPS.
