Rangers Blank Habs In Opener

Henrik Lundqvist stopped all 31 shots he faced as the Rangers opened the Stanley Cup Playoffs with a 2-0 win over the Canadiens in Montreal.

Tanner Glass scored midway through the first period and Michael Grabner sealed the deal for New York with an empty-netter late in the third.

Carey Price gave up just one goal on 30 shots for the Habs in defeat.  The Canadiens will also host Game Two of the best-of-seven series tomorrow.
