Raptors Smash 76ers to Grab Series Lead

Pascal Siakam scored 25 points to lead the Toronto Raptors to a 125-89 win over the Philadelphia 76ers in Game Five of their East semifinal at Scotibank Arena.

Kawhi Leonard posted a double-double with 21 points and 13 rebounds.  

Kyle Lowry chipped in 19 points for the Raptors, who lead the best-of-seven series 3-2.

Jimmy Butler scored 22 points to lead Philadelphia.

Tobias Harris contributed 15 for the 76ers.  Joel Embiid finished with just 13 points and six rebounds.

Game six is set for Philly on Thursday night.

Also in the NBA on Tuesday, the Denver Nuggets routed the Portland Trailblazers 124-98 to take a 3-2 lead in that best-of-seven Western Conference series.
