Ratification Votes Set For Today For Workers At Four Feeder Plants In Windsor
About 700 workers are set to vote today on tentative deals reached with four supplier plants to the Windsor Assembly Plant.
During negotiations over the weekend, workers at Dakkota Integrated Systems and HBPO walked out Sunday morning, but a deal was quickly reached.
Deals with ZF TRW and Avencez Assembly Canada were reached without a strike.
The workers will be voting on the contracts in separate sessions throughout the day at the Unifor Local 444 hall.
Results are expected later today.
Voting takes place as follows:
- ZF-TRW: 8-9 am, 7:30 - 8:30 pm
- Avancez: 9:30 - 10:30 am, 6:30 - 7:30 pm
- Dakkota: 11 - noon, 5 - 6 pm
- HBPO: 12:30 - 1:30 pm, 3:30 - 4:30 pm
