The city has decided to focus on collecting garbage and flood material.
Residents who have recycling at the curb are being asked to take the recycling back in and store it until the next scheduled pick-up in two weeks.
Bulk furniture collection is also on hold.
Meanwhile, Ontario Minister of Municipal Affairs will be in Windsor-Essex on Tuesday, September 12th to tour flooded areas.
Bill Mauro will speak with Lakeshore Mayor Tom Bain, Windsor Mayor Drew Dilkens and Tecumseh Mayor Gary McNamara.
