Red Wings Double Bruins at LCA

Anthony Mantha completed his first hat trick to lead the Red Wings to a 6-3 win over the Boston Bruins in Detroit.  

Taro Hirose scored his first NHL goal for Detroit in the win.  

Jimmy Howard had 31 saves for the Red Wings, who have won five straight for the first time this season.  

David Backes, Jake DeBrusk and Brad Marchand scored a goal each for Boston in the loss.  

Jaroslav Halak stopped 22 shots for the Bruins, who are trying to hold off the Maple Leafs to finish second in the Atlantic Division.

The Red Wings host the Penguins on Tuesday night at Little Caesars Arena.
