Retired Farmer Looking To Lead The City
There are now three candidates seeking the mayor's seat in the City of Windsor.
49-year-old Frank Dyck is the latest candidate to file his nomination papers.
"I think I can do better as the mayor, as anybody out there basically," says Dyck.
The retired farmer, originally from Leamington has lived in the city for the past 10 years and feels he's the right person to lead the city.
"I want to run for mayor to improve the technology and improve the city streets, bicycle lanes, anything like that," says Dyck.
Also running are Ernie Lamont and Tom Hensel.
Current mayor Drew Dilkens has yet to announce his intentions.
The municipal election is October 22nd.
