Rockies Rally To Beat The Tigers

The Tigers dropped their second game to the Rockies 7-3 last night in Colorado.

Starter Michael Fulmer was charged with the loss after the Rockies scored five runs on eight hits in his six-and-a-third innings of work.

John Hicks put Detroit on the board with an RBI double in the fifth and Mikie Mahtook tied the score at three with a two-run homer in the seventh, but Colorado scored four times in the bottom half to put the game out of reach.

In this afternoon's rubber match, Justin Verlander gets the start for Detroit, while the Rockies counter with Chad Bettis.
