Rychel Confident In Cuylle

Windsor Spitfires General Manager Warren Rychel is smiling from ear to ear.

Rychel locked up the team's newly acquired forward Will Cuylle who is now signed to a standard OHL Player and Education package.

He says he's not worried about giving up seven picks for Cuylle.

"You need players to win, draft picks don't win you games, players win you games but you do need some and that will be addressed" says Rychel.  "Whether it's this year, next year what have yous so I'm not to worried about that.  We just need to get players here and I like our core coming back everyone is going to be back for the next couple years."

He feels the Spits will be competitive this season.

"It's an exciting time for Will and his family and an exciting time for this city. For the fans to come and see the young guys so many good young players especially after a year and a half removed from winning the Memorial Cup.  So it's going to be a good place to be is the WFCU Centre."

The Spits picked up Cuylle last week from Peterborough for seven draft picks.
