Spitfires Downed By Knights In Game 7

The Windsor Spitfires are out of the OHL playoffs after losing 3-2 to the London Knights in Game 7.

Down 2-0 heading into the third period, the Spits fought back with goals from Jeremy Bracco and Aaron Luchuk to get the team back into the game.

The Knights would score in the third and hold off a late push from the Spits to hang onto the win, to complete the series comeback after being down to the Spits 3-1.

Michael DiPietro made 23 saves in the loss for the Spitfires.

The Knights are now set to play the Erie Otters in the next round of the OHL playoffs.

The Windsor Spitfires are off until May when they'll get back on the ice as hosts of the 99th Memorial Cup.
