Spitfires Stay Undefeated in 2019

Cole Purboo carried the Windsor Spitfires to a 5-2 road-win over the Guelph Storm in OHL action Friday night.

Guelph opened the scoring midway through the first period and exchanged goals with Spitfires' Purboo and Will Cuylle to head to the dressing-room tied 2-2.

Windsor would score three unanswered-goals to cruise to a 5-2 final — Purboo added two of those goals in the third for a hat-trick.

Colton Incze made 26 saves to win his first game between the pipes as a Spitfire.

Windsor snapped a three-game losing-streak Thursday and remains undefeated in 2019.

The Kitchener Rangers visit the WFCU Centre Sunday — puck drops at 2:05pm.
