Spits Centre Named To Team USA Preliminary Roster For World Juniors

Windsor Spitfire Logan Brown has been named to the preliminary 2018 World Junior Championships roster for Team USA.

The third-year-centre from Chesterfield, MO could head to Buffalo NY to help the US bid for back to back gold-medals.

Brown last saw action for Team USA in 2016 at the World Junior Under 18 Championships — taking home the bronze.

In 13-games for the Spitfires this season Brown has 11-goals and 10-assists for 21-points.

He was drafted 11th overall by the Ottawa Senators in the 2016 NHL Entry Draft.

The roster needs to be cut down to 23-players before the team hits the ice in the new year.
