Spits Hold Mini-Camp

The Spitfires held their mini camp yesterday afternoon at the WFCU Centre for all the players recently selected in both the OHL priority midget draft and the first-ever U-18 draft.

The players went through a couple of scrimmage sessions under the watchful eyes of G.M. Warren Rychel and coach Rocky Thompson.

Nathan Staios, who was the Spits first selection says "it was awesome, with a lot of great players, a good draft class this year, and it was really fun to get out there with them."

Stations, a defenceman out of the Vaughn system also tells AM800 Sports, "I have to play with confidence and just play my game."

The full training camp will take place in late August.
