St Clair Claims Consolation Final

The St. Clair College Women's Basketball team won the Consolation Championship in Etobicoke at the OCAA Championship with a thrilling 82-75 overtime win over George Brown College.

George Brown took the lead early in the overtime period but St. Clair stormed back and scored 16 points total in the overtime led by Logan Kucera who earned Player of the Game honours.

Kucera scored 10 of her 26 points in overtime alone with 8 rebounds total in the game.

In her last collegiate game St. Clair's Shannon Kennedy went out in style scoring 22 points and added 15 rebounds to go with 4 blocked shots.

Jana Kucera also reached double figures for the Saints scoring 12 points to go with 12 rebounds for her own double-double.  

Anna Ulicny scored 11 points to round out St. Clair's double figure scorers.

With the win the Saints can lay claim to a 5th place overall finish in the OCAA.
