St Clair Clobbers Grand River 8-2

The St. Clair Green Giants improved to 10-4 after sweeping the Grand River Loggers from Grand Haven with an 8-2 win last night at Lacasse Park.

The win improves the Green Giants record to 4-1 at home this year.

In a game that had a little bit of everything, including a "little league home run" by Nick Enrico, St. Clair was able to take control in the bottom of the 5th inning when they put up 6 runs to take a commanding 7-1 lead.

The Green Giants were able to produce the 6 run outburst due to some opportunistic hitting, after the Loggers made 4 errors in the frame.

Starting pitcher Tyler Whitbread was dominant  going 7 innings, giving up a single run, while striking out 2.
