Reggie Begelton's touchdown and two-point convert catches lifted the Calgary Stampeders to a 25-9 win over the visiting Edmonton Eskimos in a Labour Day tilt at McMahon Stadium.

Calgary clinched the regular-season series against its Provincial rival with a second straight win over the Eskimos.

In other CFL action, Dan Evans finished 31-of-37 passing, completing 19 straight attempts at one point, for 442 yards with his two T-Ds as the Tiger-Cats beat the Toronto Argonauts 38-27 in Hamilton.

The Ticats outscored Toronto 27-3 in the second half to win their sixth straight Labour Day meeting with the Argos.
