Stolen Vehicle Recovered in Shots Fired Investigation: Windsor Police

Windsor police have recovered a stolen vehicle as part of a shots fired investigation in the Forest Glade area.

As AM800 News reported Tuesday, police were called to Lauzon Rd. just after midnight on Saturday, May 4th for reports that two people were shooting a long gun in the area behind the Children's Safety Village — there aren't any homes in that area.

It appeared a man was teaching a woman how to fire the gun as police found fresh bullet holes in some street signs and hydro poles.

The vehicle, caught on surveillance video, had been reported stolen.

Police have now recovered the stolen vehicle.  It was parked and unoccupied in an alley off Parent Avenue.

The firearm has not found and the investigation continues.
