Suspects Sought After Windsor Police Disrupt Home Invasion

Windsor police are searching for suspects after officers disrupted a home invasion.

Police were called around 1am Monday to a home on Campbell Ave near Pelletier Street for a robbery and the caller hung up.

When officers arrived, they saw a man running from the back of the house.

Three victims were inside.  One of them had his hands tied behind his back and a cut on the top of his head.

The victim told police he heard a knock at the door and when he opened the door, two unknown suspects forced their way in and demanded cash.

One of the suspects allegedly hit the victim in the head with a gun.

The suspects got some money and while they were going through the house, they saw police and ran.

The canine unit was called but couldn't locate the suspects.

The first suspect is male, dark skin, about 5'10 wearing a ski mask and gloves.

The second suspect is a black man, about 5'10, wearing a gray toque and a dark green coat.
