Tecumseh Approves Town's BIA Budget
The Business Improvement Association in Tecumseh will have $130,000 to work with.
The BIA's annual levy from members totals $109,000 without an increase for 2017.
Mayor Gary McNamara believes it's a fair budget to both the association and taxpayers.
"There were some questions tonight in terms of how do you keep business going by not looking at some rate increases, but there is some marginal increases in events and sponsorships so I commend them certainly for doing that and still being able to deliver in terms of who they represent in the community," says McNamara.
"It is a very reasonable budget."
There are 537 members part of the Tecumseh BIA.
