Tecumseh Restoration Company Calls It An "Extreme Year."

A Tecumseh restoration company is calling it an "extreme year."

President of Alpine Construction Lou Savoni says the damage from Tuesday's storm appears to be worse than the storm in September 2016.

Speaking on AM800's the Lynn Martin Show, Savoni says his company had just completed restoration work a week ago from last year's storm and the same homes were hit again yesterday.

"There have been feet of water in people's basements, anywhere from an inch to certain places where they were lucky enough to manage it and upwards to four feet of water," he says.

Savoni says the first priority is to remove standing water and assess the damage.

He says it is important for homeowners to know the limits from their insurance company so people know what is covered and what their deductible is.
