The Pistons Can't Handle The Heat

The Miami Heat outscored the Detroit Pistons 33-to-8 in the third quarter and cruised to a 108-74 win in Miami.

Justice Winslow led seven Miami players in double-figures with 16 points.

The Heat have won five of their last six games to improve to 32-and-35, two games ahead of Orlando and Charlotte for the eighth seed in the East.

Blake Griffin led the Detroit attack with just 13 points.

The Pistons were 8-of-37 from three and shot just over 35-percent from the field.  Detroit dropped its second straight to slip to 34-and-33.

The Pistons return home to host the Los Angeles Lakers in NBA action Friday night.
