Tigers End Losing Streak Against Cleveland

The Tigers put the brakes on an 11-game losing streak to the Cleveland Indians with a 6-3 win at Comerica Park.

Nico Goodrum hit a two-run homer in the fourth inning and a three-run shot in the eighth and Pete Kozma added an RBI in the win.

Mike Fiers earned his fourth victory of the season, allowing just one run on three hits while walking one and striking out five in six innings.

Francisco Liriano gets the start for Detroit tonight in the middle game of the three-game series, while Cleveland sends Josh Tomlin to the mound.  

Cleveland starter Carlos Carrasco surrendered three runs over six-and-two-thirds innings to take the loss.  Jose Ramirez homered for the Tribe as they fell to 20-and-20.
